The CSRA Rural Chamber Alliance values educational activities for our members! We are working to provide you with several different activities with more details below!
Hosted on the fourth Thursday of every month, we plan to cover the following topics!
Insurance, HR Compliance, IT Security, Marketing, Workforce, Voting Education, State Politics, and SBDC.

What stage of business are you? New? Adolescent? Mature? How do you know? Join us to explore the services available through UGA SBDC offices as representatives from the Augusta office share insight, examples, and testimonies of assistance and how it may relate to your business as a part of the rural chamber alliance. We will also be addressing some of the "hot topics" related to small business right now.

In her role as the Launch Manager for the Georgia Center for Employee Ownership (GACEO), Marie Davis is responsible for establishing the network of partners and delivery of programming necessary for the GACEO to carry out its mission of the creation of new employee-owned companies throughout all of Georgia by providing unbiased education, outreach, and technical assistance on all forms of employee ownership. In addition to her passion for employee ownership, Marie is also passionate about providing opportunities for all children through mentoring programs. Using her degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia, Marie has spent many years in different roles in the mentoring filed including the Director of Mentoring for Center Point, a non-profit in Hall County Georgia and a Technical Assistant for mentoring.org, the National MENTOR program. Marie is a lifelong Georgia native – Go Dawgs!

These programs are designed to improve the health of both the business and its employees by saving money on essential benefits and encouraging employees to be healthy and productive Included are a variety of innovative products that go far beyond spreadsheet health insurance offerings.
